A girl who had the idea to become a florist in her mid twenties with no prior experience and no qualifications in floristry, but only a burning passion for business.
My love for business has always been instilled in me, even at the young age of 5. I set up a sweet stall outside my home and filled paper bags with 2 pence sweets I had bought out of my pocket money and quickly learned I could make more pocket money than I originally had by selling sweets for a profit.

This carried on throughout my childhood and when I reached comprehensive school, you guessed it, I was the kid who sold sweets!

Fast forward many years and after many hobby businesses, I found myself not going to Uni alongside my friends but instead getting a sales based role. I quickly developed a HUGE passion and buzz for all things sales, and within just 3 years at the company became one of their global top sellers and moved into a managerial position.

As much as I loved my job, I realised I was making the company hundreds of thousands of pounds year after year but still being paid a basic salary. I knew I could use my passion for business and new found knowledge of sales, and make myself more money, have more flexibility, and live how I wanted to live while working less than full time hours.

I set up Bloom Street in 2021 and within 6 months was making more money than I did in my full time sales role I previously did. Setting up Bloom Street has been so much fun and has been so rewarding! But after meeting so many newbie florists who were struggling, I realised the one thing that they all lacked… business and sales knowledge. BUT this is where I come in!
